While working as an agent I learned that I enjoyed sharing knowledge and helping others. It wasn’t long before I progressed into a Performance Specialist role within my client account. After 4 years in this account, I moved to a new client operation continuing as a Product Specialist. In 2014 I took part in Abtran’s first ‘Inspire Programme’ ; a training course designed to develop aspiring Advisors into Team Leaders. Shortly after completing the programme, I was successful in my application for a Team Leader position.
Having always been particularly interested in training and sharing knowledge the whole area of Learning & Development really appealed to me. In 2017 a role came up on the Learning & Development team and I was successful again. I subsequently attained an external industry qualification in this field, supported by Abtran in the Institute of Training & Development program.
What started off as a job in Abtran has turned into a great career for me. The opportunities are there to develop your career and the support to navigate your journey is plentiful through mentors and the Abtran Academy.
